My Approach
My overall approach is relational, psychodynamic, resilience and strengths-based, sensory-attuned, and trauma-informed.
I incorporate a wide variety of theories & approaches depending on unique experiences and goals, including, but not limited to: attachment theory, critical race theory, exposure approaches, harm reduction, feminist theory, mindfulness, minority stress theory, narrative approach, polyvagal theory, and psychodynamic theory.
I am an Advanced Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) Practitioner; ART can be used for trauma processing, grief/loss, fears/phobias, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and more.
Along with these approaches, I strive to bring energy, humor, honesty, and creativity to sessions and aim to provide a welcoming, non-judgmental, and safe space for clients to express authenticity and vulnerability.
